the V&A’s ambitious 2025 programme across our family of sites will celebrate
creativity, ingenuity and craftsmanship. The V&A will mix the historic with
the contemporary and academic rigour with spectacular exhibition design to

inspire makers, creators and innovators everywhere.”
At B A N G L E, we’re keen to clap eyes on the 1928 Cartier bandeau,
fondly known as the Tutti Frutti tiara. This Art Deco headpiece, featuring rubies,
sapphires, emeralds and diamonds, was bought by Lady Mountbatten as a “push
present” to herself, after the birth of her second daughter, Pamela. The heiress was
pictured wearing the bandeau as a high glamour bangle whilst holding her newly
delivered bundle of joy.
